Delicious Strawberry Basil Dressing

Easy. Fresh. Delicious.

This strawberry basil dressing from @thewholecook is so delicious you will want to drink the bottle! But like, Christina says, “restraint ya’ll” haha.

Spring has sprung!

Now that it is finally starting to feel like spring here in Michigan, we are getting out of that winter comfort food and heading into those fresh salads and healthy options to get our summer bods started haha. Sometimes, salad dressing can undo all the good work we are striving for by eating a salad. There are so many dressings that have so much sugar and calories that it’s not helping us reach our health goals.

Salad, salad, salad!

Don’t fret! Thanks to this recipe from @thewholecook you will be wanting to eat a salad every day with this amazing strawberry basil dressing! I have also tried her creamy avocado dressing & dip and dairy free ranch dressing & dip that is great over a breakfast hash, on tacos or just for dipping veggies in. A bonus, they are healthy and guilt-free! I would highly just recommend popping over to check out all her great recipes.

Strawberry Basil Dressing

So, the strawberry basil dressing is super quick and easy to make. I would recommend making a double batch because you are going to want a lot of it once you try it. You will most likely have all these ingredients around your house such as strawberries, orange juice, light olive oil, white wine vinegar, basil, salt, and water. Super simple and easy! I love the Taylor Farms Sweet Kale Chopped Salad. You can get it from Meijer, Costco, Sam’s Club, Family Fare, just about anywhere! It comes with a poppyseed dressing but I usually don’t use it since I can make Whole30 compliant and healthy sugar-free dressings myself.  I added some strawberries, oranges that were leftover from my fresh-squeezed orange juice for the dressing and the dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds from the kale salad kit.

Delicious & Healthy Lunch

Wala! You have a delicious and healthy lunch that’s easy to meal prep to take to work for the week and simple to make on the go at home. Your kids will love that it’s sweet and made of strawberries too! What a great way to have them eat their fruits and veggies! Haha

Enjoy the beautiful weather that will be heading our way with a fabulous salad topped with this fantastic strawberry basil dressing.

Let’s Talk!

What did you think of the strawberry basil dressing?

Have you made any other dressings from scratch?
